Jeremy Wynn - Senior Artist

Like the beginning of a Disney adventure movie, Jeremy Wynn grew up in exotic locales like El Salvador, Peru and Panama. After his dad retired from the military, they moved to Idaho where Jeremy realized, much to his relief, that they wouldn’t be living on a farm.

Jeremy fell in love with video games on an Atarti 2600, playing classics like Asteroids, Pac-Man and a little gem called Joust. Later on he played his first PC game: Sid Meier’s Pirates! (the original, mind you). It was one of the first home computer games to have a glorious 16 color palette! Something about those brightly lit little pixels sparked the artistic neurons in his brain; destiny was calling….

But wasn’t until he saw Jurassic Park that he knew he wanted to do 3D graphics. Watching those dinosaurs running in the field just blew his mind and he wanted to re-create that mind-blowing magic for others. So, he signed up for courses in ITT Tech and did what many college kids do—paid a lot of money to learn a lot of nothing. But being the determined son-of-a-military-man he was, he tightened his boots and pressed on! He taught himself 3D graphics development and attended courses at the Academy of Art University to hone his traditional art skills.

With a pep in his step and a Wacom pen in behind his ear, Jeremy set out into the world to make a name for himself. He got his first 3D job at a local shop doing visualization and animation work. From there, he landed his first video game gig working on Nexuiz from Illfonic, and has since worked on AAA projects like Prey, Call of Duty, Tomb Raider, SOMA, The Darkness 2, Star Trek and Homefront.

Jeremy even helped trail-blaze the world’s first VR gym here in Idaho!

If he’s not flexing his right brain to create amazing art, Jeremy’s giving his left brain a workout with strategy games like Civilization, Battletech and Total War. Or maybe it’s an addiction… seriously… we checked his history and he’s got like 3,000 hours on Europa Universalis 4! Jeremy… we think it’s time for an intervention.

After a day of commanding armies and conquering worlds, Jeremy can be found reading up on history, geo-politics and non-fiction. We’re pretty sure he’s planning to create his own United States of Wynn any day now….

When Jeremy’s not crafting plans for world domination, he’s cooking up something in the kitchen, baking delicious goodies or tending to some low-n-slow BBQ. Just be careful if he invites you over for dinner—he lovvves hot food. See that pic at the top? That’s him eating a quad-habernaro-pepper pizza! Last year he entered a pepper-eating contest and plans to go torture his tongue again this Summer. Spicy!

Like most of us, Jeremy is a total nerd at heart and enjoys playing D&D, dreaming up fantasy worlds and sketching them out in fancy cartography maps. He also likes cats and pets them in his arm chair like a movie villain.

We managed to steal some of Jeremy’s more personal art works to share with you below.
