Movement... And Some Puke
Michelle Hebert
April went by pretty quickly… So, last time I was happy about getting some pigeon footstep sounds into the game. Added onto this momentum by taking a field trip to the local craft store in town to get myself some props! We needed some good feather ruffling sounds and wing flaps. So, I found some cool feather items that I could use to record some foley!
Along with the feather recording, I was able to get some footsteps and clothing foley in for the human characters of the game. We’re building a modular foley system - it’s something I picked up from my last shipped title that I find to be a great way to cover foley sounds across all animations without having to sound design for each individual clip.
Here’s a quick clip that shows off some of the sounds we’ve gotten into the game to test out!
